Psychopathologies Training Weekend in Auckland
(2-3 October) - with Keith Tudor
This training weekend offers a foundation in different perspectives on psychopathology, and different formulations about mental illness and disorders, and personality disorders. Depending on the needs of the participants, the weekend will encompass presentations about, reflections on, and discussion of:
• Mental health and mental illness – including social and cultural perspectives
• Models of madness
• The medical model: Diagnosis, treatment, and cure
• The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV) – An introduction
• TA models of personality and psychopathology
• Psychopathology as alienation
• Relational possibilities: DSM-V.

These workshops are an opportunity to develop your capacities for Awareness. Spontaneity and Intimacy. There is an opportunity using the group process or individual therapy to transform obstacles that prevent you from relating authentically and autonomously.
These groups are an invitation to Actively Participate in Conscious Relating.

NZTAA 2009 Residential Event is being held at Kimi Ora Resort, west of Nelson, South Island, New Zealand from Saturday 10th October to Friday 16th October 2009. This residential event takes places every other year and is an internationally unique TA training experience. New Zealand TSTAs provide the leadership and supervision of a combination of experiential, teaching and learning forums.
